THIS. [He holds up a small, twisted-beyond recognition bit of metal, the camera blurring before focusing on it] is what an ionic coupling cable looks like after your engine turns itself inside out doing a quantum jump further across the galaxy than I even knew was POSSIBLE.
THIS. [A different misshappen lump of green plastic replaces the metal in front of the camera] is what I just pulled out of the engine. THIS, is what happens when a GROWN MAN plays with action figures - of himSELF - around an open, uncalibrated, quantum, device.
[He lowers both objects, camera refocusing on his dead-pan expression; it contains the mournful emptiness of suffering through a long and terrible ordeal, although it grows less so as he talks and instead grows more irate.]
If I EVER see that over-grown, butt-chinned man baby again I am going to - [Ratchet makes a frustrated noise, hands raised as if to just strangle the li-] No. Nope. Not gonna say what I'm going to do to him because I don't want there to be ANY. EVIDENCE.
